Ice Cream Day

National Ice Cream Day

3rd Sunday in July every year, July 20th

On July 23, 1904, Charles E. Minches of St. Louis, Missouri, came up with the idea of filling pastry one with two scoops of ice cream, thereby inventing the ice cream cone. The walk away cone made its debut later that year at the St. Louis’s World Fair.

National Lemonade Stand

When I was little girl growing up, one summer, my two best friends, Lisa and Rachelle, would come over to my house. We would stand up a lemonade stand and I thought my friend's mother was magic, because she would come out with a big pitcher of Pink Lemonade, not regular lemonade. PINK!

First Sunday of May is National Lemonade Stand.  So come out, set up a stand and enjoy!
