Neil Armstrong stepped on the land of the moon at around 10:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Buzz Aldrin joined him 15 minutes later. Michael Collins was orbiting the Moon. Neil and Buzz set up an American Flag on the Moon as soon as they stepped off the module “Eagle”. The flag was later blown over when Eagle took off. Interesting Facts: Gravity on the Moon Astronaut Dave Scott dropped a geological hammer and a falcon feather at the same time to show they would land together though one was heavier than the other. This experiment would be impossible on Earth, where air resistance would slow down the feather more than the hammer because of the feather's shape. Lunar Law From its Office for Outer Space Affairs in Vienna, the United Nations (UN) promotes cooperation between countries on the Moon and in outer space. No one owns the Moon or the land on it. Neither countries nor individuals can make territorial claims, though some businesses offer to “sell” land on the Moon. Houston, the Space City Park Tranquility Park - downtown Monuments: Astrodome Astroworld (former amusement park) Sports: Astros – Baseball Rockets – Basketball Aeros – Hockey Comets – Women Basketball Texans – Football. Texans is the only sport did not have name related with space. Museum: Houston Space Center – Johnson Space Center

My favorite subject in school is Reading. I have so many reasons why my passion is reading. Math was always my worst and most hated subject.

Floral Design Day is the perfect day to appreciate and create floral arrangements. Flowers are loved by all, especially the ladies. It seems only fitting that we have a day set aside to appreciate the creativity and artistic quality of flower arrangements.  
The perfect activities for today include:

• Create a floral design with real, live, or dried flowers
• Take pictures of floral designs.
• View floral designs.
• Draw pictures of floral designs.
• Have the kids get in on the fun. Get out the crayons and let them draw floral designs for an aunt or a grandmother.

Guys: Get in touch with your feminine side and make some floral designs today. If you just can't bring yourself to do this, you will be happy to know that today is also Public Sleeping Day.
