I often jump up and down for JOY! What about my heart? I have had a few moments like that. When God answered my prayers. When God healed a place in my heart I didn’t know was hurt. When God gave me strength to overcome my physical painful circumstance. When God gave me a song every morning. When God gave me a creative to design my first Artwork. (see the image) Frog who makes me smile. He point my heart to Jesus. My heart LEAPS for joy!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LEAP DAY BABIES!

February 29th only falls on Leap Years. Every four years. February 2020 has 5 Fridays. Between 1904 and 2096, leap years with same day of week for each date repeat every 28 years which that the last time February had 5 Fridays was in 1980 and next time will be in 2036.

Floral Design Day

Floral Design Day

Floral Design Day is the perfect day to appreciate and create floral arrangements. Flowers are loved by all, especially the ladies. It seems only fitting that we have a day set aside to appreciate the creativity and artistic quality of flower arrangements.  
The perfect activities for today include:

• Create a floral design with real, live, or dried flowers
• Take pictures of floral designs.
• View floral designs.
• Draw pictures of floral designs.
• Have the kids get in on the fun. Get out the crayons and let them draw floral designs for an aunt or a grandmother.

Guys: Get in touch with your feminine side and make some floral designs today. If you just can't bring yourself to do this, you will be happy to know that today is also Public Sleeping Day.

Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras

Fat Tuesday is another word for Mardi Gras. I have learned one or two things since my brother marry Louisiana-born wife. My nephew and niece’s mother. The King Cake is decorated in oval-shaped with three colors symbolizes the unity of three kings. The Mardi Gras color: purple represents justice, green represents faith and gold represents power.

Heather Whitestone

Heather Whitestone won Miss America in 1995.  She lost her hearing at age 1 ½ years old. Her lifelong dream to be a ballerina.

She performed ballet in talent competition of Miss America pageant. The song is Sandi Patti’s “Via Dolorosa." Via Dolorosa is the name of road or path where Jesus carried the cross. She proved everyone wrong that she can do it in spite of her hearing loss.

Teddy Bear Drive

Teddy Bear Drive

I want to start a Teddy Bear Drive.  The purpose of this drive will be to pass out cuddly and furry Teddy Bears to victims.  My goal is to give love and comfort through stuffed animals where it can help.  I am sure that many people would appreciate something like this!  Children like to have something they can hold on to that is warm and fuzzy in moments of trouble.  Teddy Bears melt the heart.

If you are interested to help.
If you wouldn’t mind share this to your friends and ask them to cleaning out their houses, closets, storage spaces, or whatever and donating any gently loved teddy bear needing a home (or any other stuffed animal), I would appreciate it.  If they also can go to resale shops, garage sales, a dollar store, flea market, or whatever and purchase gently used ones.

It would be wonderful if we could accumulate a large pile of stuff animals.  Teddy Bear (or any kind of animals) and any size will be accepted for this effort provide temporary comfort to victims.  I would prefer they be at least 12 inches in size so that they are big enough to hug.  Any color is fine.

I would love for all of you to be a part of it.

Umbrellas or parasols not only help protect us from the rain, but also protect us from the sun. Some folks use this handy accessory as a walking aid.

Super Bowl Sunday is America's great pigout day, second only to Thanksgiving as the biggest eating day.

Sandwiches, barbecue, tacos, meatballs and chili and the good old chicken wing is one of the game day's most popular foods.  American's all time favorite is Buffalo chicken wings with dips.
