Devotionals

God is always protecting us even when we don’t realize we need it.

"Charity may be a very short word, but with its tremendous meaning of pure love, it sums up man's entire relation to God and to his neighbor."

As the priest introduce the Gospels, all in the community sign themselves with the sign of the cross traced on the forehead, the lips and over the heart. This signing reminds us “Christ in my thoughts” (forehead), “Christ from my lips or what I say” (lips) and “Christ in my heart” (over the heart)

“Blessed the religious who treasures up for heaven the favors God has given him and does not want to show them off for what he can get out of them. God himself will reveal his works to whomever he pleases. Blessed the religious who keeps God’s marvelous doings to himself.”
—Saint Francis of Assisi
