Triduum

Blessed Holy Thursday!
The Triduum is the center of Catholic worship. It begins with the evening Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday, which commemorates when Jesus instituted the Eucharist at the Last Supper.

Catholic Bible

Someone mentioned that Catholics never read bible.

We, Catholics, use the Bible a lot!

In Mass, Prayers, Hymnals and more. We have Readings for everyday, Sundays, Holy Day of Obligations and through out the YEAR!

I have more than 30 bibles here in my room. I use NAB and NIV the most.

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. ~~ John 15:11

Devotionals

God is always protecting us even when we don’t realize we need it.

"Charity may be a very short word, but with its tremendous meaning of pure love, it sums up man's entire relation to God and to his neighbor."

As the priest introduce the Gospels, all in the community sign themselves with the sign of the cross traced on the forehead, the lips and over the heart. This signing reminds us “Christ in my thoughts” (forehead), “Christ from my lips or what I say” (lips) and “Christ in my heart” (over the heart)

“Blessed the religious who treasures up for heaven the favors God has given him and does not want to show them off for what he can get out of them. God himself will reveal his works to whomever he pleases. Blessed the religious who keeps God’s marvelous doings to himself.”
—Saint Francis of Assisi
